broad heads for bears

so me and a buddy are planning a bear hunt this spring either in utah or idaho just waiting on the draws. any way which broad heads would you guys suggest for taking a bear either exandable or fixed blades

I shot my bear with G5 Montecs. They worked great had deep penetration and lots of blood flow. Just as note I shot my bear treed at 12 yards. If it makes any difference. Good luck! and post up pics!

Keep in mind expandable heads are not legal in ID , also the biggest head that you can shoot accurately help with a blood trail , bears have a lot of fur and fat that block small exit holes and the fur soaks up a lot of blood best of luck to you !

Same as you would use for any other animals. Bears are nothing speacial. I have seen a bunch shot with bows and all types of broadheads.

VPA broadheads. sharp, easy to sharpen, no moving parts, and I dare you to brake one.

+1 here. Although the hair may not stop a wide expandable, it will definitely lessen a blood trail. Admittedly, I have a bias against an expandable anyway.
