Bushnell Scout arc 1000 question

I have a Bushnell Scout ARC 1000. On the side it says: 055418 June 2008 or 2009 (can't tell for sure what year). How can I get this rangefinder to show my true horizontal distance to target for ranges over 100 yards? I do not need bullet drop or line of sight. I just want true horizontal range taking into account the angle. For example if I nrage something at a 40 degree incline that is 400 yards away (line of sight) how can I get the rangefinder to tell me the horizontal range (which is 335 yards)?

I do not think it can do this but I am hoping it can!

Thanks, that works but only to 99 yards right? I never actually tried it past 99 yards - but the instructions say 99 yards.

There were several early angle comp rangefinders that had a 100 yard limit for the angle comp. First leupold model was one if I remember correctly.

Ironically my main rangefinder also limits 100 yards for the bow setting (horizontal distance calc.). But with rifle I think it is 800 yards or something.
