So Mr.BSU Canoe, put your Broncs in the Cougars shoes last night and what happens? TCU is pretty tough. Not to many teams in the nation could have beat TCU last night. They were awesome on both sides of the ball. Look out Utes.

Hey Peak - those stupid cougars blew it again. Now instead of helping the MWC out they choked. We had 3 ranked teams in the top 25. "Look out Utes"? How about look out Cougars. Playing like that they could feasably lose 3 conference games. I am NOT a BYU fan but I was rooting for them to do well as well as the other teams so the conference didn't look like chumps. Hell they couldn't even keep it close. TCU played well. BYU played as crappy as TCU played well. They sure as hell didn't play like a BCS team or a #8 ranking. Go over to that "Cougar Blue" site. It makes me want to puke in my shorts. EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES! BYU beat themselves.

HEy, I'm not knocking TCU, BYU, or Utah. They are all good teams. I am pleased that BYU will probably drop in the polls, it means that there is only one non-BCS team ahead of BSU.
BSU vs TCU = I don't know. They won't be playing this year in all likelyhood, so it doesn't really matter what you or I think.
I am still confused why I won't be laughing later. Like I said before, BSU is very young on both sides of the ball. They have acheived more than most people expected to this point in the season, so even if they lose a game or two, the future is very bright indeed. Most of us fans considered this to be a rebuilding year, so being undefeated at this point is inspiring.
But, I gotta ask. Are you just sore that BSU is UNDEFEATED against MWC teams since we joined 1-A? Is it the fact that BSU has beaten TCU, BYU and Utah in the last five years? Help me understand where your attitude is coming from.

Congrats to TCU for playing one hell of a game. They did absolutely everything right on both sides of the ball. BYU played the sloppiest game I have seen them play in YEARS! Even having several chances to cut the lead down they just straight blew it.
Don't anybody else think that it can't happen to your team,m because it can, and probably will. My crystal ball tells me that the MWC won't have any undefeated teams come bowl season.

As a BYU fan, I have got to say that BYU played pathetic! The did not belong on the same field as TCU. What a pathetic effort!
As for Boise state. There is a reason you don't get any pub. They are Boise state. Enough said. They played BYU at their lowest point in 30 years. They should be really pumped over those wins! Nice Blue field!
It pains me to root for the U of U but I will be until they lose. They better be ready for TCU, that is one heck of a team.

And they put 58 on them in provo, Talk about beating teams at their low point, besides miami, smu, and the hotly contested 8-4 michigan team please tell me when the Y has beaten anyone from a power conference when they were at their peak?? Couldn't be Penn State or a Texas A&M remember them Tye??? a downhill Notre Dame, or a slipping Kansas state win are always cited by byu fans but by definition programs that are not at peak, Or this years Ucla win when they weren't even ranked top 25? Why don't you throw in Utah as well when they aren't getting into bcs . Oh wait you are the titans of the Holiday/Vegas bowl. You are the most delusional fans ever, I am a aggie we suck we embrace it. Boise and Utah do something you don't they win 1/2 the games when they play ranked teams, and they generally beat teams they are favored over. But don't despair the Las Vegas bowl is calling again.

Looked like lost puppy dogs out on that field. oh well go cougs and have fun in the LV bowl. Still thinkin they will waltz all over UT at least thats all i can hope for. Few weeks ago i saw a team put up two shut outs on division 1-a teams, and could have played with any team in the country. regardless of how poor those teams are thats very impressive. That team will make UT look silly, the team that was on the field with TCU doesnt stand a chance of winning. Be interesting to see. Also i think UT is in big trouble with TCU.

There is still a lot of football left to play, and there is a possibility that no MWC team will bust the BCS, and that TCU wins the conference, but becuase they have one loss, they don't get a BCS bowl but go to the LV bowl. That would leave BYU and UTAH to both go to lesser bowls, which would be disappointing considering all the hype for both teams this year.

I think it is kind of fun throwing around a little BS. Hope I did not offend any BS fans out there! Yeah right! That is what being a true fan is all about! Hopefully the Y can play you all again.

TCU is no stick in the mud. I believe there only loss is to former #1, Oklahoma. There is still half a season to go. TCU and Utah will each have games that they should win but don't show up to play. If somehow the Utes run the table, the game or two before BYU could be scary for them if they overlook those games waiting for BYU. Boise St. is a great team, but in my opinion, not as good as the team that beat Oklahoma a couple of years ago. Their freshman qb is awesome but he is a freshman and he will have a couple of down games, hopefully the rest of the team steps up in those games. I look at the teams that will be in BCS games this year, as of right now, Bama, Texas, etc. and I don't see Utah or Boise St. beating those teams this year. But that is why they play the game. Good luck to all. I hope a non BCS conference school crashes the party!

LAST EDITED ON Oct-20-08 AT 09:21AM (MST)[p]I started as thread a while back about Mountain West Football and I gave TCU credit back then and knew it was a matter of time before they hammered out one that would grap the countries attention. Out side the Mtn West, nobody really cares , kind of like the WAC , but the Mtn West and WAC ALWAYS have a handful of teams that are in the top 25 and usually do well in the better bowl games . A few years agao Utah throttled Auburn in I believe the Fiesta Bowl, not sure on the bowl , but thats when the Mtn. West finally started to get their due, then Boise State took OK Sooners to the wood shed two years ago at the Fiesta Bowl in AZ, stamping a legit notice from the WAC. Sure the Big 12, SEC, PAC 10 are all great , but there is alot of passion in the WAC & Mtn West. On one of the shows this weekend one of the anylysts said that the Mountain West had 3 teams (BYU,UT, TCU) that nobody wants to meet up with in a bowl game...I think the WAC has a couple that will knock the snot out of some of the better so called conferances....
