C Oregon Shed Hunting

Son has a baseball tournament in Bend this weekend and we might have some time to kill. I'd like to wander around the woods somewhere and look for some sheds, still trying to get the wife her first shed find. We don't do much shed hunting (none really) and Central isn't a familiar part of the state for us. Anyone care to point us in a general direction or jumping off point? Not lookin' for a honey hole, just an area that we could look around for a few hours that would be worthwhile. Appreciate any advice guys, thanks.

In case I don't get a responses, anybody have a trout fishing report?

south or south west of Inn of the 7th may get you an elk antler

Deer = north of China hat rd and east of the gas line

Neither one of those are a secret but they are both close and easy. they also have lots of people running around.

If you want something farther afield,(and maybe better) you'll have send me a PM

My step father lives in Bend and has hunted and hiked that area a lot over the past 20 years. On a spring after a hard winter that area can be very good. He has a few whoppers to show for all his hikes.
