Has anyone had any experience with these tents or their Extreme Weather XWT tents. How are they to set up?

Thanks

I have used the Cabela's 6 person Alaska Guide tent for over 5 years. The only issues I have had were the main tent door zipper. The tent has survived some nasty Alaska weather.
The tent has 6 poles as opposed to other 4 pole dome style tents so it is a little more time consuming to set up but not bad. I prefer the aluminum poles over the fiber glass. Aluminum cost more but are more durable and lighter in weight.

I went to Alaska last year for Caribou out of Kotzebue. We had 3 of the tents set up on the tundra. They were great, we stayed dry and comfortable for 7 days. Make sure you get the rain fly with them, I think that without, you could get wet.

I have a 6 man w/ vestibule. Spent 11 days in it in Alaska w/ some high winds and it worked to perfection. No problems what so ever.

I've got the 6 man, and set it up alone
in NM last year. I really like it. The
vestibule that you can get also, really helps.

I damned sure wouldn't want to spend the night in it
with five other men..............

Chicks would do though........

Love mine, you'll like it.
