That is a very hard hunt and I would for sure if you can hire a guide. Cary Jellison is the guy you want in that hunt. He seems to pop out B&C bulls out of there almost every year. I have been on 2 Simpson timber ground hunts and Cary was there on them both and produced big every time.(not with me)Most everybody I have talked to that has been on this hunt has either seen 1 bull and they shot it or they hunted there butts off and saw no elk. The good part is of the couple of bulls taken every year ther is always one toad. I have been told by Cary that the last 5 days are always better than the first 5 days. The later in the season it gets the more the rut kicks in and the hunters leave because they filled or they are pissed of about not seeing one single elk. Good Luck!
