Central Uintas Goat Tag

Has anyone hunted this unit for goats. My nephew hunts elk on the side end of the unit and sees a lot of goats. I also have a co-worker who hunted the north end of the unit with good success. Just looking for additional areas to scout. We are going in on horse back and have two tags in our group.

Hunted this years ago. Big herd of goats near Blue Bell Pass and around Red Castle Lake. Also found some near Swasey (sp?) Lakes and around Mt. Ellen.

You'll have a great time, such a beautiful place once the boy scouts are back in school
