I drew this tag as a second choice this year (Second Season). I'm curious if any of you have hunted it before and what is a reasonable expectation as far as bucks go. I've heard mixed reviews on the unit, but most of them were 4 or 5 years ago.

I've hunted it often but usually for elk and normally earlier in the year. We've just not seen many deer at all around Crooked Creek pass after the bow season. We used to see more deer over towards Ruedi Reservoir but we used to backpack in quite high. We had seen some nice bucks but that was many years ago. Last time we hike way up just to "trophy" hunt maybe (8 years ago) we saw way too many hunters and zero deer even way up high which was very discouraging. Sorry I can't be more encouraging!
