Unless you plan to use your points and run.
It would raise the points needed on nearly all units.
Many hunters currently use their points to draw undersubscribed units.
Those hunters will keep their points under point banking. (maybe use 1 point)
If you leave all those points in for future drawings, the odds will get much worse.

Each hunter here who drew with more than minimum points required to draw, keeps some points.

I have seen as many as 14 points used, to draw a tag which could be bought as a leftover until the hunt.
This will increase points held by thousands, probably tens of thousands.
