I drew unit 5 3rd season deer this year but have never been to the area. I was planning on making a trip up to scout but that's not gonna happen and its getting close. I was hoping I could get a little info on where I should start.
I'm planning on doing some hiking to get away from roads to look for some good deer but hoping not to waste to many days of season scouting.
How's access? Should I bring atv? Is there many camp spots in unit?
