My question: I am in my second year of the program. I filled my tags last year and this year so technically I am done and can't hunt next year. Suppose I was to draw a limited entry deer tag next year, first, would I even be eligible to apply for a limited entry deer tag? and second, if I am able to apply, would I be able to use the tag since I have killed my two deer in my 3 year cycle? I couldn't find any helpful info on the DWR website other than this....
Can I apply for limited-entry buck deer permits while I am a Dedicated Hunter?
Answer: Yes, but you may only have one buck deer permit each year. If you draw a limited-entry buck deer permit in the big game drawing, your Dedicated Hunter permit won't be printed. If you harvest during your limited-entry hunt, it will not count toward your harvest limit for the Dedicated Hunter program.
Anyone been in the same boat as me? and what were your results?
