I have access to some property (Northern Utah), where hunting is not allowed. I regularly visit this site, and observe the many deer and elk that live there.
One thing that I have observed this year, is that the deer are getting there winter coats very early this year. Usually it is the first part of October, when they start to change from the summer brown, to the winter gray. This year most of the deer have already started to change, or have already changed all the way.
Does this mean we are going to have a wet/cold/early winter??? Let's hope that we at least get a ton of snow, in the mountains, so we can end this drought!!!!
Any of you noticed the same thing???
