How many points did you draw with?
You don't really need a guide for that hunt the elk should be easy to find, just get away from the roads and hike a lot and glass. Bring a friend and a couple of good backpacks to get the meat out.

Where you coming from? Are you able to make it out this way at least once before the hunt? As long as you don't have these expectations of this monster bull around every corner you don't need a guide. PM i can give some places to look
