Early Beaver scouting

Next year is the big year for me and my archery elk tag. I have more than enough points to obtain the tag. I have decided to take a look see on the Beaver unit and depending how I feel after, making my tag choice.
The problem is I don't know the area. I am going to make several trips down there this year, starting one year early on my scouting to learn the country. Any places to stay away from? I am looking for more remote hike in type places.
Anyone know if the desert side holds many bulls?
Any pointer at all will greatly help.
Thanks

I'd say take a few hundred of your buddies with you as well and try and hunt those beaver spikes. keep at it right up to the last day.

I was looking for something else, I thought you had PICTURES of different kind of Beaver.

Its a darn good thing that beaver tag doesn't have a 10 + year wait!
That would put a whole new look to a trophy room!? Also, I would undoubtably become a taxidermist.

Good Idea on the spike thing- never thought about that.

I laugh every time the news/weather guy/gal say's "Fillmore Beaver area"!! just can't help it,
