Elk 78 and 95

Howdy all,

I have a few questions about elk units 78 and 95 for bulls. I know these are quite different hunts, but would love to talk to anyone who's hunted either one. I have the points to draw as a non-res and would plan on a DIY style hunt.

78 you might want to know a landowner
Pretty locked up. Can get access but it's a tough hunt if u don't live in the area. Hit or miss

If you have land to hunt in 78 and extensive time to be here waiting for the correct weather to push elk around..can be a great tag. If you have neither of the above, I would lean towards elsewhere.

Thanks for the feedback from everyone. It sounds like 78 is tough for a DIY guy. Anyone hunted the non-wilderness section of 95?
