Elk in 68/681 during 3rd season

Hey guys, we will be hunting deer in 68/681 during 3rd season. My nephew is joining us & planning on picking up an elk tag. Just looking for an idea of what we may see for elk in those 2 units that time of the year. Any legal bull is a good bull for him. Thanks for any info you might have.
