I posted my European mount a while back, and the question was asked what I used to mount it to the wall. I thought I would post a few close up pictures of the mount bracket I built. I am not a big fan of the wood back grounds, so I went to Walmart and improvised.
I bought some galvanized 90? braces, and bent them to a 45? angle or so with a hammer. Once I screwed it onto the wall, I was able to adjust the angle to what looked best.
The hex bolt is just the right length, that it inserts in the hole in the back of the skull, and basically secures it. I was really suprised how well it stays on there.
I cut the wood so that it fits right between the teeth, and rests against the roof of the mouth.
