Man congratulations! I don't think I have ever seen an elk with a head that big ?? Florida?s elk population has been booming in the last few years. Unreal.
Those two elk will look awesome mounted together.
It's a great example of the Northern Florida Greater Elk and the South Florida Pygmy Elk.
They'll make a wonderful contrasting display.
Congrats man!
Congrats!!
I see a weak g1 on the left. I've heard that is quite common on north Floridian elk.
Although, after walking and hunting for 46 miles, you sure you weren't in Georgia???...
Must have been a cold year in Florida this year for it to snow. But I guess sometimes those tropical storms drop a lot of hail on the ground that would look like snow. ?
LAST EDITED ON Dec-06-19 AT 10:45AM (MST)[p]Great Florida bull! That is a great general season bull. Some guys would burn 20 points for a LE bull like that.
Hunting barefoot with all those gators around? You must be tougher than your feet. Congrats!
Wish you hadn't let the cat out of the bag on Florida elk. But since you did, just another typical 2-1/2 yr old Everglades bull. You should have held out for a mature 6-7 yr old.
