Would anyone like to recommend a game processor or two in the Buffalo - Gillette areas? I have never hunted in this area before. Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't remember the name of the one in Buffalo but it was out on the east side of town I believe. My friend took his Buck there in 2010 and left it to have processed. That place was a filty messy place and we will never go back. My friend said that even the steaks were not good.

Gillette area I do not know a thing about.

Brian---Tha place you're talking about is on the south side of the main east/west street not to far west when you take the first Buffalo exit coming from the east from Gillette. I have never used it since we hunt the other side of the mountains, so I'll take your word that it was lousy when you went there.

Since I was not driving and we came in fron the west on Hwy 16 I could have been turned around slightly but it was a messy place for sure. I think they were the only one in town too or at least that we seen.

This year we will go to Casper to have ours processed again....great service there too.

NOTE: I found the name...

LAST EDITED ON Jul-24-12 AT 03:49PM (MST)[p]I've been to that shop in Gillette and the guy runs a great place with a good turnaround time at very resaonable prices and he makes some great products to boot. My buddy lived on the south side of Gillette before moving to Sheridan last year and that's where he took the 357 3/8 bull he shot while I was with him in 2010. We were so impressed with the shop and the guy, as well as the products along with the routine processing/wrapping that John may continue to go there even though it's quite a drive. I would highly recommend them. PS: That was the place in Buffalo I was referring to also, and it doesn't even look too good from the outside and why we never went there.
