Best to find a quality archery shop in your area....you will get better overall experience than with big box stores ...get measured and dont over pound your draw weight....lots of good bows out there today...shoot several and choose what feels good for you....pick a bow that has adjustable draw lenght as well as draw weight, add a peep sight,we use medium size, a five pin sight,we use BlackGold great fiber optics in low light conditions, choose a quality modern arrow, we use Easton Full Metal Jacket 340 with 2" Blazer vanes and G-5 Striker Broadheads dial the pins in 20,30,40,50,60 good to go......choose a broadhead that shoots same as field points ....makes life much easier.....than readjusting everything when want to go hunting.....
You can save money with a package deal....but as you grow into achery you will find you will want better quality components for your setup. If you can afford the gear buy the bow only and build it with quality components you will save money in the long run buy not having unwanted sight etc just up in your closet...
Good Luck,
