Could probably look at 40,41,42 general season hunter numbers and get a idea of how much added pressure would end up in 39 if they did make those southern units all draw. Putting all those hunters close to home takes a lot of pressure of rest of state. Yeah population is booming but hunting participation is not to point of limiting residents. I bought second deer and elk tags last year again. They should adjust outfitter tag numbers and release those to nonresidents before August 1st if they want to bring more revenue into state. Yeah I’m paying price locked nonresident rates but any hunter coming from out of state is going to pump more $$ into economy. System is so flawed I don’t know how they can ignore this debacle.
