Thanks for the shoutout!
It reminds me of when I was a little boy and I wet my pants wearing dark long pants. It was a warm feeling. This time from inside me. Thanks. I have not lost my faith. I have logged on for several or many years. I remember when there was a character named Bobcat who slinked away and his alter ego Elk Assasin took his place. I hope that someday he writes a paragraph explaining really what a pisscutter is and show us his favorite pisscutter picture.
Until last fall I was like a redtailed hawk setting high on the power pole watching the farmer work the fields.....occasionally swooping down and picking up what he stirred up. I posted a bit and then set back. I like learning and especially enjoy all the posts about ethics and what makes us hunters and why we enjoy hunting. I have hunted since I was a little boy and it is deeply ingrained inside of me. I am lucky enough to have 2 twin cousins who came up with me and we judge our years with our hunting success. Success being defined as time spent together hunting everything from squirrels and rabbits to deer, elk and turkeys.
1911 I get where you are coming from. This forum is worthwhile and everybodys input adds to the mix and its benefits and it will grow or falter. I from habit listen and think. Usually by the time I formulate my comment it has been posted by someone with a like view. I will come back on. I am not a diver, you will probably remember that I am not afraid to go in over my head. I will wade in and try to add to the mix. My cousins....cowtag and blacksheep and I have cowtags for Colorado for the muzzy season and will hope to bump into some MM's this fall. We have received very good info from more than one MM'r where we usually hunt. I hope this post does not make me sound like a major league Wuss.
I remain faithfully yours
