Has anyone out there ever hunted this CWMU unit before for Deer or Elk? If so what kind of experience did you have? How many critters did you see? I drew an antlerless elk tag for this unit and am just wondering what kind of an experience anyone else has had here. I've looked at the info on the DWR website and so know what to expect, but would still like to hear about anyone elses experience with the unit.

I've spent a little bit of time down there. It's really changed a bunch the past few years with all of the energy development and timbering.

You'll probably get a cow, but it'll likely be a tough tough hunt. It has some NASTY country so be prepared to pack your elk out in quarters.

There were tags leftover-that should tell you something about how hard it could be. Most guys don't want to have to work that hard for a cow-myself included.
