I just called them and they said it will be the 10th if all goes well. Something about the new computer system was the delay. I really hope we don't have to wait until next Tuesday but it sure is looking that way at this point...
LAST EDITED ON Jul-05-07 AT 09:44AM (MST)[p]Having worked in the IT field for the last 10 years, I am amazed at how many times companies seem to have "computer problems". Maybe I should call and offer them my services and give them a proposal for a new database and drawing system, all supported by me. I'm positive I could dedicate the necessary time and resources to make sure it would be reliable and accurate. I could even throw in a bit of code to make sure my name was drawn for all the hunts I wanted each year
I wonder what the fine is for not notifying all that drew by mail by July 10th as stated in the regs. If they don't have it posted on the website until then, I wonder how they will let someone in New York know by snail mail...
We might as well go back to paper draw, It is about same time frame old vendor might have had it's flaws but never had to wait this long for interest accrual I mean computer difficulties.
The draw is complete, and the results cards have been mailed out to all the lucky ones. Again, permits and tags have to be picked up by August 1st. Don't know why they can't get them on the web page. I am sitting here looking at my successful antelope notice as I type this.
I live about 5 miles south of the id. border and have not seen anything, i sure hope this year don't make the 11 th strait unsuccesful year, i sure have been un lukey in idaho !
you think that you have had a streak of bad luck, hell what do you think of not having a permit since 1987. Which equals out to be exactly 20 years. You have only 9 years to catch me.
