Idaho Unit 40

I drew an unit 40 Antelope tag and I'm looking for some feedback as to what areas I should concentrate my scouting.

OK, How about this. Is the area south and west of Murphy worth exploring? With the price of gas, I need to be specific in my scouting.

Since nobody has replied yet I will try to point you to a few decent areas. To answer your question, yes south and west of murphy is a good place to start, south west of Oreana is another place to look. Also close to the southern border of 40(mud flat road, antelope ridge road, is another area to start.( I saw two good bucks last week down by antelope ridge rd and mud flat rd.) By no means am I an expert on antelope, but we spend a lot of time out in unit 40. Hope this helps some. Good luck.
