Anyone get screwed as much
as I did??
Makes me not want to work for a living.

Difficult to deal with.

They tax tobacco in an attempt to get people to quit .

They tax gas in an attempt to get people to use less .

They tax income to get people to quit .

I haven't done mine yet. Now I'm scared.

In California, they tax tobacco and use that money for poor children's health care. I don't dare quit now and abandon the kids.:D

Totally miscalculated the whole Soc Sec and retirement thing this year. $5K to Feds and 2K to State, won't happen again!!!.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-14-18 AT 08:06AM (MST)[p]Now to really tick you off. One of our Southern CA. Democrat liberals is sponsoring a bill to add a higher tax on ammunition and firearms. The money will be used to support school safety if you believe that B.S.

RELH

Because they want you to quit We pay more in taxes on gas than other states pay for a gallon of gas why would it be any different on this.

I'm in California and self employed, my CPA gave me a comparison of 2017 vs what my taxes would have been in 2018 if I were to have had the same year as 2017. They would be about 1000 higher with the 2018 tax code.

Just friggin terrific!

I got my taxes back from the accountant a few weeks ago. Getting screwed is an understatement.

How did that happen? Forget to have taxes taken out if SSI?

39 cents of every dollar we make goes to the tax collector.
Wish they would just give back a 1/3 of what I paid in.
