Here is the real story, The deer is 100% real, I used to work for EG&G who is the private contractor for the government to get rid of nerve agent. I saw that deer personally many times right off the side of the road on the base. It had a very safe home to get that big. Honestly I would have put the deer at 35-36" wide in real life, now if it has been photoshopped I will leave that up to everyone that looks at the pic. Either way it was the biggest deer that I ever saw and probably will ever see. The deer got the nickname "Cheetos" because he came up and ate some cheetos chips either out of the hand of a worker or off the ground right in front of him not real sure on the details but his name was Cheetos. It is true he was poached, a 16-17 yr old kid claimed he shot it off the extended archery when in fact he shot it with a rifle out of some alfalfa fields that border the base. He got lucky and caught the big guy off base it was just too late in the season. The poacher showed the deer to someone who recognized him from a picture and notified the game officer that something was not matching up. I don't know what his punishment was. That's the real story.
