Kids Deer pics

Missed the 09 thread on deer and this was last years anyways. But I just found the pictures from the hunt. Sorry bout the grainy pic, I left the digital at home and had to buy a cheap throw away and regret it now. But it was a great hunt for her first deer. She always seems to draw good tags and I draw nothing. Thats ok with me though. Anybody else have pics of their kids with deer?

and here is her 08 blacktail it was her first buck we didnt get to hunt much in 09 because someone thought playing volleyball and cheerleading were more important than hunting owell she is a senior this year so school wont get in the way this year

Thats awesome. Mine is a senior this year as well. And funny she didnt put in for deer this year becuase she was playing volleyball as well. VB season was over bhy the time the Elk hunt came around and she shot a pretty good late season bull, pic in the 09 bull thread. So she has had a good couple years.

Best huntin buddy ever!
Kudos to all the dads that take time for their kids.

My kid turns 18 in December.
Aside from the glory shots, it's the time spent together in the mountains, in tents, on long drives, camping in the back of the pickups, uncomfortable nights spiked out on hard mountainsides, nights spent in seedy motel rooms.
The whole thing, I couldn't ask for more.
Thanks Son, It's been one helluva ride...

Maybe as memorable as the hunting have been our fishing trips together, but that's another story....

Guys those are awesome. I will put some more pcs up soon. Harry I know that the bond a family members share over the years while hunting is something I dont even have words to describe.
I think these are our legacy to hunting. Without them i think it goes away.
I know there are more MM members raising kids that hunt, wheres the pics. I know this is on the Mule deer threads but any pic will do as far as im concerned

My 11 year old son got his first deer and javelina last fall. It was a great hunt! He made fantastic shots on both critters.
