Well said Bighorn, I would have to agree based on a lesson my uncle taught me once. The night before the hunt my son was wearing a lighter, tan-colored, hat. He said "you're not going to wear that hunting are you? "That's the same color as deer's hind end and you'll stand out like a sore thumb."
What he said make's a lot of sense, since whitetails use their easy-to-spot-tails as a warning to other deer, it make sense that muley's would keep track of each other by watching for white patches as well.
Anyway, when I see some of these lighter cammo patterns they just look waaaay to light for me. I think they should rename that pattern "Desert Daylight" instead of "Desert Shadow". It's nice pattern, just too light.
