Late Season Archery Deer for AZ

Late Season Archery Deer starts this Friday here in AZ. For some of us that were not lucky enough to get one earlier this year this is our last chance. I will up North in unit 10 this weekend. Good Luck to everyone

I'll be in 21 and I heard about a few guys that are heading to Big Bug. I've hunted 10 during the rifle hunt and didn't see much. I bet it'll be good during the rut! Are you gonna hunt up by Seligman?

I will also be in unit 21, but I have to wait until January.

I do think that the late archery hunt is a lot better in unit 10 than the rifle hunts, all though it is such a big unit there are some many places for the deer to be. This year it will be different because there is no snow on the ground. Most years I will hunt out west just North of seligman but I will be closer to Williams this year.

I agree 10 is huge and offers every kind of habitat. I've seen plenty of Doe in there but the bucks have been harder to come by. I think the rut might help bend the odds a little.

We'll see, John and I are heading up tomorrow after work.

Good luck guys. I'm hoping to get out a couple days during the Christmas break. Probably stay close to town out by Gold Canyon(24B). Chef and I were out there quail hunting last week and saw quit a bit of sign.
