Man Cave Preview

After having all my mounts in a pile on the floor for over 5 years, my long awaited trophy room is nearing completion.

Hung a few heads & pics yesterday, I'll put in the lifesize mounts and a few more heads after the floor is finished and the back end is trimmed out.
Still plenty more to do, but I think the man cave is coming along nicely.

These Dusty Roads ain't streets of gold but I'm happy right where I'm at!
All these Perty little Western Belles are a Country Boys Dream!
They ain't got Wings or MM Halo's but they sure look good to me!

I love those big animals, elk, caribou & moose (though hanging them while balancing on a 12 foot ladder is something I don't enjoy very much)

I'd love to do an AK/YK moose hunt just about more than anything else.
Maybe some day with the Kid.

I hung a couple more elk and some smaller mounts today.

I know that you must have one of the biggest and best collections of big buck pictures ever. Just an idea, you could maybe devote a place in there to honor all those super monster bucks taken by different guys from all over the country. Just a idea but would look cool and i'd be interested seeing a display like that.

anyway, good on you! it would be nice to have a place like that just for doing what you're doing.

Wish I could have you all over for a barbeque & some brews.

Got a couple of PM's regarding the Indian bowls.

All private land finds.

I used to live on a cattle ranch with a rich history of Indian dwellings.
Every winter the rain storms would erode the banks of the creek behind the house exposing bowls, pestals & arrowheads.
My collection is small compared to the local grape farmers that till up areas along the river.
It was amazing to find them though.

Anyways I thank you all for the compliments, it's the best I could do, my trophy room pales badly compared to some guys I know, but for me it represents a life long obsession and displays a rich life with my son in the outdoors regardless of my working man wages...
