LAST EDITED ON Sep-01-11 AT 02:05PM (MST)[p]Just curious how some of you have came up w/ your handle on MM's. Some names are pretty self explanatory and others might have a good story behind them. Ill go first, I live in Idaho and my last name is Smith. Took a few months to come up with that one!!!!:D :D

And Eldorado, feel free to post up any hot chicks on this thread!

Can't kill those big stinky's too dead!

"We can have no "50-50" allegiance in this country. Either a man is an American and nothing else, or he is not an American at all".
Theodore Roosevelt

I've been a Husker fan my whole life even when I didn't live in Nebraska thus the handle Cornhusker. I'm not a corn farmer. I hate the stuff ruins good hunting ground at its present price.

My great grandfather shot an Overton rifle in the Civil War. He was in a confederate unit called the Overton Rifles. He was a better shot than me. I'm only a slightly better shot than Lesgo.

Cheap pair of computer speakers and the year I was born.

Feleno, you reasoning changes on every one of these threads!
I like nickman's story behind his name the best!

Name of my dad's favorite horse and the horse that I used to ride for years and years.

How many times each year do we have to enter this for someone here who could just look in the "search tab".....just saying it gets old.

My #1 handle choice was Chuck U Farley , since its my name . #2 was Grulla for my favorite color of horse . Booth of those where denied so I went with Foundation in reference my favorite breeding of quarter horses .

I'm kickin the idea around of changing it to Turtle slayer .

When I was a little tike in tee ball the coach and all my "friends" used to tease me cuz I couldn't catch the ball :( I'll never forget it...plicks!!

I am a pretty good predator caller and have trapped for years. I kinda got good at catching and calling in them spotted kittys. I love those bobcats so much...........I named myself NebrCatMan. Besides there could never be another Jeremiah Johnson ..........he's my HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zeke is my blue heeler's name, but since that was taken, I went with my little pet name for him when we are alone with a jar of peanut butter!

My pops was a union pipefitter, everyone called him Shummy as kind of a play on our last name. When I went through the apprenticeship program, every one called me Little Shummy. After awhile it was shortened to plain old Shummy.

The first time I met my future brother-in-law he mangled my name and called me Eldorado. Go figure. He's since has gotten better.

Here you go IdahoSmitty. One of my favorite gal's. Enjoy.

Every time I go out to buy some new hunting gear.Which does happen quite often
The wife reminds me my problem is I'm never_satisfied
She just doesn't get it.
Nobody tell her I said that!!!!

C is for circumference
J is for junk
B is for behemoth
O is for outrageous
Z is for zipper

My wife gave me the handle one night. Pretty simple really.
Or.......
Its is some initials to my name and nickname for my last name. Wish I was a pornstar, dead eye shot or big mule deer killer:( some guys have all the luck!!

HNTNFSH pretty simple I live to hunt and fish plus my wife always complains that all I want to do is hunt and fish guess what she's right and I think a little jealous cuz its about the outdoors 1st and her somewhere down the line

It was my nickname when I was stationed on the USS Wyoming, then for shore duty I was stationed in a mountain (now a ctr in here), and have come to love being in the mountains.
Mntman

"Hunting is where you prove yourself"

Fish is my last name so I have always been called kingfish.

Government doesn't fix anything and has spent trillions proving it!!!
Let's face it...After Monday and Tuesday, even the calender says WTF!

I was born and raised in WV, where I preferred to bow hunt more than anything, and when I joined MM I was stationed in Alaska. So wvbowhunterinalaska is my user ID which I shorten to WVBOWAK.
WVBOWAK

Was given the name by an old offshore driller. He kept hollering about that "little red headed F'er" hence LRHF.

WHAT???!!! You mean to tell me that nobody else on here is using their REAL name??? Am I the only one?

WTH??!!

If I would have known it was supposed to be some secrect code I would have chosen something a little more creative. Like Ben Thompson or Paul_Crawford or Peter_B._Long.

Mine is from my old dirtbike days, I used to ride a kawasaki and I am a redneck, so my buddys called me kawboy

I'll tell you who it was . . . it was that D@MN Sasquatch!

I coached fast pitch softball for several years. About 19 years ago one of the girls on my team started calling me larrbo. It has stuck ever since.

>Or how about GARRETT................
>

Well that would be an odd choice for a guy named Roy now wouldn't it?? LOL
