Here is my buck that I harvested on Saturday morning. We headed to the area where we saw this buck over a week ago and couldn't make it work out. We noticed him first when he walked out of the tree's 120 yards away. I got the first shot off at 184 yards and barely missed to the right. He looked at the ground where the bullet hit and kept feeding. We lost him in the draw, but we knew he had to be close. We went to the top and kept watching for him, low and behold, there he was at 10 yards laying in the shade. As I raised my gun, he bolted away from me. I couldn't believe my eyes when he stopped at 60 yards and turned broadside, perfect shot behind the front shoulder and he was mine.
