Was just wondering if any of you folks out there have ever hiked up into the Uinta wilderness for deer, specifically the Center Park or Swift Creek trailheads, and if there was a fair amount of game. I hiked up by Moon lake over the weekend but thought it was awful thick (more conducive to still-hunting maybe?). Was just wondering if it thins out on the other trails or if it stays pretty thick as well. It was my first time in the Uintas and I'm debating if I should spend the majority of the season off of highway 191 north of Vernal or in the wilderness. Thanks.
