A friend of mine took a big Non-Typical Muley back in 1973 in Wyo. I have posted the pictures before but save time and do it again now.
This buck was never scored until 1995 and had a final score of 252-2/8's. Gross was 259 even.
Well we finally got Herm to enter this buck, after I had showed the pictures to David Long of Magnum Mulies and gave David a story to go with the pictures back in 2002 for his next book.
Well the mount was sent to Kansas City for the up-coming B&C Awards and Banquet next month and Hermon was just sent a letter from B&C at Cabela's stating that his Buck has been panel scored and now has a higher score and want him to insure the buck.
His final NET score was changed to 259+. So I won't know what and where they scorer made mistakes till I see the score sheet the judges came up with. Needless to say, Herm is walking on air right now and can't wait to get back there for the presentation next month. Here is the Buck in question, enjoy. Brian
