Being a guy that's certainly not to proud to admit when I need help, I have a question:
I'm bringing my dad and uncle out for rifle elk this year. We hunted the Pioneers last year during archery season, saw a couple bulls but they holed up in the dark timber which made for very difficult hunting, especially for 2 guys in their 60's.
Anyway...my question is this: Anyone have any thoughts on the Pioneers vs. the Gravellies for the rifle hunt? I realize the Gravellies get a lot of pressure, but I'd like nothing more than for my dad and uncle to kill some elk. I'm aware of the wolf issues in both areas, just looking for some general thoughts on what you guys think might give me the best chance to get the old timers on some decent bulls.
