Safe Leaving Truck at TH Rubys?

My son and I are Packing in and will have to leave truck at TH unless there is a service or kind person who can drop off/pick up at TH? East side of Ruby's. Has anyone been ripped off, broken into, stolen vehicles, doing this up there?

Don't leave anything of value and make sure anything else is out of sight.

I've never personally had any bad experiences but a couple of years ago there were several thefts that had taken place at Angel Lake. fatrooster.

Yes, that's why I was asking. I remember those posts of people rigs getting broken into. I was thinking of putting a note in window saying: Tony, I doing some scouting and will be back soon.
Another sign: There is nothing of value in this truck.

A few years ago I was 800 yards up the mountain and a group of guys pulled up to TH, they get out and a few of them walk over to my truck and start looking inside. I blew my whistle, got their attention, then went back to their vehicle. They were about to get a 7mm shot across their bow!

A few years back during rifle in area 15 I was hunting with a friend from reno topped the ridge to over look the truck and a guy was looking it over. Without hesitation my buddy took aim at a cow pie about 20 or so yards in front and let it rip needless to he bugged out

The posts I read were about these scum bags that were coming into Camps late at night and braking into trucks.
