Wanted to take a minute and give a quick review on using the stainless steel media for cleaning brass since its been a game changer for me. I have used the crushed walnut shells for ever and had decent results but like everybody else I'm sure you notice how long it takes and you have the dust to deal with.
Then started using the sonic cleaner and would finish them up with the walnut shells. I had ok results with the sonic cleaner but decided I will just use the sonic cleaner for cleaning pistols and parts. The sonic cleaner really shines in that department.
After a bunch of research and reading about mixed results I figured I would try the stainless steel media and a tumbler. After some of the reviews I wasn't expecting the world but after using the system for a while now I'm just blown away with the results.
My recently fired cases clean up to look like brand new in about a hour and cases that look like they have been out in the elements for 5 years clean up the same way in 3 hours.
So far not one complaint so if anybody has been on the fence about it, its something you may want to take a closer look at.
