The photo you have posted is only 39k @ 185 X 185 pixels. It is a great image and would work just fine for many online needs. If you go looking for software for playing with your photos, Try ACDSee or Paintshop Pro, I see your running Photoshop 2.0 it is has a tuff learning curve. Paintshop Pro will do about anything photoshop does for a tiny fraction of the price and it's much easier to use and ACDSee is really fast and easy.
Here is how I understand the math involved:
your photo was saved at 185 pixels per inch tall and wide
and it is 72dpi (dot's per inch}
so 185 divided by 72 = just over 2 1/2 inches
This makes your photo a tad over 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches
Isn't it amazing that we can see all of this just cause you posted a picture? I wonder how long it will be until they get your SS# embedded in a photo?
