Well, so much for our late Fishlake elk hunt for my son-in-law. We were doing some work on his roof, and had just climbed down into the bed of my pickup, and he hopped off of the tailgate, and tore his ACL. He is scheduled for surgery in a couple of weeks, so we had to turn his tag back in.
Hopefully someone who appreciates it will get it and have a memorable hunt. Kind of a bummer to have to give tags back when they are so hard to come by!
