Unit 1 Moisture

I drew a unit 1 archery bull tag and was wondering how the moisture has been in the unit. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I've been south of Big Lake and suprisingly it is very dry, the roads are easy to access as everything is pretty dry. Been down the 68 road and 24 road. There are a lot of downed trees too since the Wallow fire so it will take time to get into a lot of the areas. Hopefully with this last snowstorm, it will help boost grass growth. I received 6 inches here in Lakeside so hopefully snow fell all over the White Mountains.

I was on the mountain Saturday plenty of moisture fell at noon there was 6 inches at Big Lake and still snowing on Sunday morning. Saw 1 herd of elk that had a bull in with them.

Should be a good year the mountain got good moisture this weekend all water tanks that I saw were full.
