Unit 10 is a tough unit man. Alot of guys hunt the Aubrey cliffs area in the southwestern part of the unit. Thats supposed to be a pretty good area. I hunted this unit last year and didn't tag out. My cousin shot a little 3x3. If I drew that tag again I would spend all my time around the Cataract Canyon area. We spent a little time in there and it is great deer country. The reason we didn't spend the whole hunt there was because it was VERY muddy and we had a heck of a time getting in and out. Cataract canyon is up on the north eastern part of the unit. I've seen some 180 class bucks come out of there. Another area is down near Ashfork. Actually east of Ashfork. There is a rail line that runs through there, we hunted south of the rail line. Thats where my cousin shot his little buck. There is yet another area you might try that we saw last year. Little spot out on the flats called Ten Sleep. Its on all the topo's. Theres a little ridge south of there that doesn't hold alot of deer but the ones that are there should be good. Over all its a tough unit, lots of thick juniper/ceder country, pretty flat and VERY big. I hope this info helps. Also, I almost forgot, check out the Big Boquillas ranch. I've heard good things about that area but if it rains or snow they'll probably lock the gaits so have a backup spot if you plan on hunting there. Good lick and let me know if I can help with any more info.
