We ended up drawing a couple bear tags for 61 this year- wondering what to expect... Has anyone hunted it the last few years for bear?

They're everywhere. Hunt where the Pinyons and oak meet. I've seen several down the Uranium road area. Good luck.

Saw several last year. This year is dry so find yourself a couple good watering holes and they will be there.
I seen a totally blond bear yesterday,while moving our cattle, he was around 250 to 300 lbs. also had a bull elk stand there and watch us go by,he was a nice 5x5 may be a 6x6 later on. bear are already becoming a nuicance this year,hunting season wont come early enough this year!
