Utah Antelope down!

My son was finally able to put this big Antelope down. After several failed stalks, the buck finally made a mistake and left his herd and charged right at us cutting the distance from 900 to 100 in a matter of seconds. I was able to stop him and he made a great shot. It was crazy how it all unfolded. The buck has 16"+ horns and a lot of character. Thanks to those on her that gave us advice.

Looks like the young man did a great job of harvesting a speedgoat that he will always be proud about. Now for some good eating backstrap.

What a cool looking buck and big buck,,, you and your boy had a fantastic hunt... Congrats to you both....
 
Thanks guys. It looks like a broken prong might keep it out of the record book, but it will be close. None the less, it exceeded our expectations.
