Utah cwmu

Hi I'm looking at putting in for a cwmu around southeastern Utah spots anyone have any experience with any? I'm currently looking at the patmos ridge cwmu but there is really no information on most of these I appreciate any input thanks guys.

Patmos could be a sleeper, it’s been years since I’ve been there. Deer unit wide have been in perilous conditions recently.

Best thing to do would be to reach out to a bunch of the operators and ask for their rules, hunt dates and what they have killed recently.

Patmos Ridge is a good one. However, they only give 1 tag to the draw so drawing the tag is completely random. In that case the number of points you have, if any, doesn't matter. Just something to consider. Also, like lundellhunting7 said, no matter where you decide to put in for, call the operator first so you clearly understand what to expect in terms of rules, opportunity etc.

With only 1 permit offered on Patmos ridge the more bonus points you have will help with more "names in the hat" but definitely is something to consider as everyone has a chance at the tag. If you have a decent amount of points There are quite a few CWMU'S that have at least 1 reserved tag in southeast Utah so I'd definitely do what has already been mentioned and call the operator and get specifics as not all CWMU'S are created equal.

Thanks guys I did some calling and contacted many operators the patmos ridge looked to be a good option so I went for it hopefully I'm not disappointed should have a pretty good shot at getting it
