I was wondering if anyone had been across the valle vidal on rd 1950 from costillia to cimarron this year yet? And if so how was the road? drifts? washboards?

the northwest side is closed this time of year but the cimiroon campground and such is still open there is a county fence on the way up that is the closure line so to speak and you cant fish the ponds till july 1 . i was up north a few weeks ago and the snow is pretty much gone but that is a bit farther north than i was. Were in for a dry brutal year and fire season the el nino wasnt what they thought
