Brian,

It is a Ken Burns series and is airing on Public Broadcast Service PBS. The second episode will be on PBS at 7PM tonight. The first episode was history up to 1959 and was, I thought, very well done. My Wife watched episode II last night on her IPad but I can't tell you how to do that. You should be able to watch Episode 1 that way to catch up.

I've watched the first two episodes, its been very educational. I was born in 1965 so its good to hear some of the background events.I hope to be able to watch all of it as i just have basic tv service.
