I was going to buy the vx6 3x18 will illuminated reticle. I was just thinking is this scope going to be legal in most states. Are there any western states this will be illegal in.

Also if it is illegal can I take the battery out for that state and make it legal?

Not sure why it would be illegal unless you are shooting when you aren't suppose to.
