Just curious what you guys recommend for waterproofing my wall tent? I know that Cabela's sells Canvak for about $18 per gallon. Is this the best available option? Thanks, Scott
I used Thompsons on a small area of my Davis tent that got grease on it. It sealed it up. I live in Western Washington. I haven't had a problem getting wet, especially when you have a good stove going.
Hey FALCON, thanks for the reply. I'm gonna price the Thompson's, and if it's cheaper, then that's probably the route I'll go. Considering I've only got a response to this post from you, nobody out there must own wall tents or never waterproof them. Scott
Does your tent leak or is waterproofing it just something you think you need to do? The reason I ask is because I've read several accounts of guys doing more harm than good by trying to "re-waterproof" their wall tents.
