About 8 hours in some of the roughest terrain possible equals:
This guy was waving at me from the bushes - impossible to miss. Looks like it is at least a year old...maybe two?
These are the fresh brown ones I have been waiting for No matched sets though
Thought I was going to find some more muley sheds up where I was at, and there was plenty of sign mixed in with the elk and moose sign, but just no antlers that I could find. And no luck with the elk either.
Aside from getting lost out in the dark and having to wade through a thigh-deep snowfield that seemed to grow in the dark, it was a pretty good trip. Saw some snowshoe hares, and tons of grouse too...
Planning to head down to S. Ut this weekend to see what we can find.
